Ron began his public accounting career with Ennis, Pellum & Associates, CPAs in 1980 after working in private industry. In 1986, he was admitted as shareholder. He provides audit, tax and management consulting services to our clients in a variety of industries including: automobile dealerships, construction contractors and home builders, distributors, manufacturers, retailers and various non-profit organizations. Over the course of his 27-year career, Ron has developed a concentrated expertise in construction accounting and tax methods. To this end, Ron has lectured on construction accounting, auditing and taxation in a variety of seminars including the FICPA state conference.
Ron has significant experience in assessing and implementing operational and system solutions. From small businesses to large enterprises, his consulting has produced cost effective, efficient solutions to bringing business and accounting processes together. This systems expertise led Ron to form the firm’s Technology Services Group in 1987, which remains a thriving practice within the firm.
Ron has a long history of service in the Jacksonville community. He serves on the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce Finance Committee and has served as Chair of Finance Committee’s Budget Task Force and Audit Task Force. As complement to Ron’s expertise in the construction industry, he is Treasurer of Associated Builders and Contractors and on the Board of Directors of the Northeast Florida Home Builders Association. He has also served on the Executive and Advisory Boards of various non-profit organizations in Jacksonville. Ron currently serves on the Board of Seamark Ranch as Treasurer and sits on the UNF Student Affairs Council.
