During his accounting career Russ has held various management level positions within both Audit and Tax practiceswith firms in Virginia and Florida. Within his firm responsibilities, he has served financial institutions, real estate brokerages and developers, manufacturers, municipal governments, various other small businesses, and high net worth individuals. Russ also had two years of direct financial management responsibilities within the Construction industry.

In addition to his functional experience, Russ has been actively involved in the accounting profession on both the state and national levels. He is a past member of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council, and has also served on the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Small Business Advisory Board. He has also held several positions of responsibility relating to Professional Ethics within the accounting profession, including multiple terms on the Professional Ethics Standards Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

In addition to his resposibilities within the firm, Russ currently is an Adjunct Professor and teaches Accounting courses within the Florida State College System.
