Todd Gunn, CPA

Todd joined the tax team of Ennis Pellum CPAs in 2013 and was admitted as Partner in 2021. He provides tax planning and compliance services for businesses and individuals, including federal and state taxation for S corporations, C corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and individuals.

Todd has over a decade of experience as an accountant and advisor. Before becoming an accountant, Todd owned and operated a residential remodeling business for five years. His focus is on accounting and taxation for the construction and contracting industries, including commercial, residential, and specialty trade contractors, as well as architectural and engineering firms. He advises clients on percentage of completion and completed contract accounting methods, along with tax deferral strategies. His practice also extends to real estate, manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, logistics, investments, and professional services.

As a key member of the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services team, Todd has years of experience assisting trade contractors and clients across various industries with M&A transactions. He handles both buy-side and sell-side engagements, focusing on net working capital analysis, deal structuring, and post-close support. Working alongside investment bankers, attorneys, and private equity groups, he guides clients through due diligence, negotiation, and smooth transitions from planning through closing.

Todd served as Treasurer for the Florida First Coast chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors for four years. He has also served as a panel member for the Athena PowerLink program of the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center, as Treasurer for the Grace Lutheran School PTL, and as a volunteer for HabiJax and the St. Francis Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
